Useful Phrases: “No news is good news”
This means that if you haven’t heard any news about someone/something, then there must not be anything wrong – so everything is fine.
“I wonder if my brother is okay.” – “Well, no news is good news.”
“Do you know if there is a problem with the order?” – “I haven’t heard anything. No news is good news.”
“I’m worried about my grandma. I haven’t talked to her in a while.” – “No news is good news, right?”
