Jason D. Padgett has Acquired Savant Syndrome from Anchorage Alaska and living in Tacoma Washinton. When he started drawing he had no conventional math training and could draw what he saw as math, and has only since become a student in order to better describe the geometry.Ten years ago, one night he was walking out of a karaoke club in Tacoma when he was vioently attacked by muggers who beat and kicked him in the head repeatedly and his brain was damaged.After that he does not see the world in the simplest way.Everywhere he looks, he sees complicate mathematical formulas and rules like the Pythagorean theorem.He said “I see littles and pieces of the Pythagorean theorem everywhere.” Every single little curve, every single spiral, every tree is part of that equation.”A physicist saw his drawings and helped him get traditional mathematics training skills to be able to describe in equations the complex geometry of his drawings. The beauty of numbers and their relation to the pure geometry of space time and the universe is shown in his fractal diagrams.Jason Padgett’s fractal drawings are extremely good, exciting and encouraging.His drawing of E=MC^2 is based on the structure of space time at the quantum level.
