The first and second generations of the Cadillac CTS, launched in 2002 and 2007.

The third-generation Cadillac CTS is 4.3 inches longer than the last saloon car.The new CTS is about 200 pounds lighter than the old model.

• 3.6-liter V-6.
• twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V-6 engine rated for 420 hp.
• 430 lb-ft of torque is backed up by an eight-speed automatic transmission.
